Late 60s Pogliaghi Italcorsa (Before and After)

This is what it looked like when it came out of the box. It was all there but a basket case... a little too much "patina" to display as-is. Plus it had been badly chainsucked. When I took it apart I felt the pins inside the bottom bracket. This baby was truly handmade. Lug detailing is really excellent, which is unusual in Italian bikes. Brian Baylis worked his magic in Ferrari Red with yellow decals of a slightly later vintage, and the result is a truly rare and gorgeous bike. I found a pair of 32H Mavic OR-10s (thanks BC) and the gold rims and yellow cables really set off the frame.
